Emerald Okra *Heirloom*

Emerald okra produces spineless pods that stay tender even when large! Plants grow 5-8' tall and have dark-green velvet pods. Pods grow between 6 to 8 inches long. This variety retains its color when cooked or canned!  'Emerald' was bred by the Campbell Soup Company, Riverton, New Jersey and was released in 1950. 55 days.
